Ironbridge Capital Partners LLP is delighted to announce the investment of up to £3m in fashion brand AQAQ by Chinese-based investors. In a process led by Associate Partner Michael Pearce, a minority stake has been bought.
London-based AQAQ (www.aqaq.com) is fast gaining traction in the affordable-luxury space, with a highly sophisticated online channel, global wholesale customers and London retail store.
“We are really happy with our new partners, they have industry expertise, especially in China, and we are excited about the potential for the future. Ironbridge, and in particular Michael Pearce, have been
excellent throughout the process, both in identifying the right investor and then assisting in closing the transaction”.
Julie Lingard, AQAQ Founder
“Michael’s knowledge of the fashion world is outstanding and we are very pleased to have been able to combine his network with Ironbridge’s expertise to deliver for AQAQ”.
Crispin Comonte, Managing Partner
Ironbridge’s new fashion and luxury goods division was created by Pearce, and includes current clients Richard James, Mimi Holliday, Prism and Donna Ida. The AQAQ transaction represents the division’s first deal with more expected to follow in the next few months.
